Progress.....without regress

what do we actually mean when we say that we have progressed or developed. we usually use the term progress whenever we want to signify change in position ,configuration or situation naturally in positive direction in short moving forwards in order to achieve ideal completeness or perfection.since progress as the term goes is uncountable noun we had defined some parameters of our own to define its measure.i suppose that somewhere in the midst of running behind zero we have made some wrong demarcation of that parameter.

During my recent trip to my home i saw lot of changes in the surrounding as a whole."This place is lot more progressed" said my mother. By that she meant that a posh new apartment has come on the play ground in the adjoining locality. its the same playground where i used to play cricket and other games in my lot younger say school days."Indeed a progress" as i glanced at my personal computer which i recently upgraded with new hard disk and advanced graphics card to accommodate the latest version of cricket game.with technological advancement like this which kid will want to go playgrounds for recreation.we can surely utilize that space to get some more malls erected on them.

we have the latest airbus to take to any international destination in shortest time just to spend more time in traffic jam on our way to airport.we have to wait for hours for ambulance to arrive at emergency situations but the pizza is always delivered well within 30 minutes.we have impure contaminated water flowing from our taps but packed mineral water bottles are available everywhere. there is shortage of lifesaving drugs in our medical stores but cigarrates and guthka packets are available even at the highest point in Amaranth.

i am definitely not here to suggest people about 1001 unique ways to save our surroundings nor am i one totally against whatever going on in the name of modification.so next time whenever we take out our latest digital camera to click snaps be sure what you are clicking bcoz we may end up having only photos to pass on for our generations to come.
Thanks you all for reading.
